Mechanical Contracts Manager

Are you an experienced Mechanical Projects Manager looking for your next challenge? What is The Job Doing:

As a Mechanical Projects Manager, you'll be at the heart of the action:
  • Take charge of projects from the moment a tender is won through to completion and final account.
  • Oversee two live projects at any one time, each averaging a value of around £2 million.
  • Manage procurement processes and maintain strong relationships with long-standing subcontractors.
  • Lead and manage the site team to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • While the primary focus is on the mechanical side, some responsibility for the electrical aspects will also be required.
  • Projects are UK-wide, often along the M4 corridor, with occasional fully expensed overnight stays.


What Experience Do I Need

To thrive as a Mechanical Projects Manager, you should have:
  • Proven experience in managing mechanical projects.
  • Strong procurement skills and the ability to manage subcontractors effectively.
  • Experience in leading site teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and stay overnight when necessary.
