Systems Administrator - 2nd/3rd Line MS 365 Support

£50,000 | Fully Remote | Permanent, Full-Time

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Systems Administrator with strong 2nd/3rd line support experience in MS 365 to join a successful and growing business, taking responsibility for maintaining, supporting and improving its IT infrastructure.

You will play an important role in ensuring systems remain secure, reliable and performing at their best, while contributing to ongoing IT projects and service improvements.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for maintaining and developing the company’s IT infrastructure, providing 2nd and 3rd line support and helping to ensure the security, availability and performance of its systems.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Administering and supporting Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint, Outlook and OneDrive.
• Managing Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Entra ID and security and compliance services.
• Investigating and resolving 2nd and 3rd line technical issues.
• Monitoring and maintaining IT systems, applications, hardware and end-user devices.
• Supporting IT projects, system upgrades and the implementation of new technologies.
• Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and service delivery.
• Maintaining accurate technical documentation and providing excellent end-user support.

About You

You’ll have at least five years’ experience in IT support, including a minimum of two years in a Systems Administrator role, with a strong background in Microsoft technologies.

You’ll ideally have:

• IT Degree
• MS 365 Certifications - MS-102, SC-300, MD-102, SC-900.
• Microsoft 365 administration, including Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Entra ID.
• 2nd and 3rd line support and troubleshooting.
• IT security, compliance and data protection.
• Some experience of Purview
• Helpdesk and remote monitoring tools.
• PowerShell scripting or other automation tools.

You’ll be a proactive and analytical problem-solver, comfortable managing competing priorities and communicating technical issues to users at all levels. A strong customer-service mindset and a willingness to learn and develop are essential.

Job Title: Contract Dynamics 365 Business Central Systems Manager
Location: Warrington – Hybrid 2 days per week on site
Day Rate: Negotiable
Duration: 6 Months – Immediate Start

We are looking for an experienced Business Central Systems Manager with a deep technical knowledge of the system for a six-month contract for a large organisation based in Warrington.

You will have an in-depth knowledge of Business Central – the finance modules in particular, as that is all they use within BC.

You will have management skills to bring order to a mixed in-house, offshore and partner teams.

Experience within construction or utilities would be very useful so you have an understanding of CIS, CVR models etc however this is not a must-have but working closely with finance teams and stakeholders is important.

AI & Infrastructure Engineer

Rochdale | £45,000 to £50,000 + 25% Bonus + Benefits | Hybrid – 3 Days Office-Based

An excellent opportunity for an IT Support or Infrastructure Engineer to join a large, established organisation with a £180m turnover and 7,500 employees, as it begins to invest in AI and automation.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid Microsoft 365 and Azure who wants to get more involved in AI, automation and emerging technologies alongside their infrastructure responsibilities. You don't need to be an AI specialist already but some exposure to it and AI Agents either commercially or in your own time will be needed.

The Role

Working closely with the AI Software Engineer, you will help maintain the infrastructure, platforms and applications that support the organisation's growing use of AI and automation.

Responsibilities will include:

• Administering cloud, hosting and AI platforms, including user accounts, access rights, environments, API keys and usage monitoring.
• Deploying, monitoring and maintaining internal applications and AI agents, troubleshooting issues and escalating where necessary.
• Supporting Microsoft 365 and Azure services, including Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams, permissions and Power Platform integrations.
• Onboarding colleagues onto approved AI tools, managing licences and providing guidance on their safe and effective use.
• Supporting data connections, scheduled jobs and simple automations, with opportunities to contribute to development projects.
• Maintaining system documentation, configuration records, support procedures and recovery plans.
• Applying security best practices, including multi-factor authentication, access controls, patching and monitoring.
• Setting up and supporting devices and technology used for automation, meeting capture and digital signage.
• Monitoring platform usage, costs and incidents, identifying opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Assisting with testing and the rollout of new tools and technologies across the business.

About You

You will have experience in systems administration or infrastructure support, with a good understanding of Microsoft technologies and an interest in developing your skills in AI and automation.

Ideally, you will have:

• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, including Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint and Teams.
• Knowledge of Windows and macOS devices and general IT troubleshooting.
• An understanding of cloud and web technologies, including DNS, hosting, APIs and basic command-line tools.
• A methodical approach to problem-solving, with good organisational and documentation skills.
• Strong communication skills and a helpful, patient approach to supporting users.
• An interest in AI tools and automation, alongside an understanding of information security and the importance of handling confidential data appropriately.

Experience with Power Automate, PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, Azure App Service or AI platforms would be advantageous, as would relevant Microsoft or CompTIA certifications.

The Role

Working closely with the Director of Data and Business Optimisation, the AI Software Engineer will design, build and deploy AI-powered applications, agents and integrations to improve efficiency across finance, billing, field operations and customer service.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Establishing the infrastructure, development processes and deployment frameworks required to deliver AI applications securely and effectively.
• Developing AI-powered applications, agents, APIs and integrations using modern programming languages and large language models.
• Integrating AI solutions with Microsoft 365, finance, CRM, workforce management and other business systems.
• Building data pipelines and reporting services to provide reliable, consistent business information.
• Implementing effective AI governance, security, testing and monitoring to ensure solutions are reliable, compliant and fit for purpose.
• Working with stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities for automation, challenge existing processes and turn business problems into practical technical solutions.
• Taking ownership of the full software development lifecycle, from design and development through to deployment, maintenance and ongoing improvement.

• Supporting the development of the wider team as it grows, sharing best practice and advising on emerging AI technologies.

About You

You will be an experienced Software Engineer with hands-on experience developing and deploying production applications, alongside practical experience integrating AI and large language models into business solutions.

You will ideally have:

• Strong commercial software development experience using TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, C# or a similar modern language.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs into applications, including prompt engineering, tool/function calling and evaluating AI outputs.
• A solid understanding of web applications, REST APIs, relational databases and cloud or serverless deployment.
• Experience with Git, automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• A good understanding of software security, data protection and the responsible use of AI.
• The ability to understand business processes, identify opportunities for improvement and explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive, hands-on approach, with the confidence to take ownership and build solutions from the ground up.
