The Role

You’ll play a critical role in the design, development and deployment of advanced control systems, supporting the delivery of precision-engineered, safety-critical systems from concept through to installation.

Working closely with mechanical, software and systems engineers, you’ll help ensure projects are delivered to exacting technical, quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement control systems for complex electromechanical equipment
• Develop, test and maintain PLC, HMI and motion control software
• Produce accurate technical documentation including schematics, BOMs and manuals
• Ensure systems meet relevant safety, quality and compliance standards
• Collaborate across engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions
• Contribute to product development and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

• Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or similar
• 3+ years’ experience in automation / controls engineering
• Strong experience with PLCs (IEC61131), VFDs and motion control systems
• Ideally experience with Beckhoff PLCs
• Proven track record delivering complex electromechanical systems
• Detail-oriented with a hands-on, problem-solving approach
• Confident communicator, comfortable working with cross-functional teams

Desirable:

• Experience with AV systems or immersive technologies
• Knowledge of electrical design packages and system integration
• Experience supporting international projects or installations

Job Title: 1^st/2nd Line IT Support
Location: Coventry
Salary: £26,000 to £29,000

We are looking for someone in a 1^st / 2^nd line role with one or two years of experience that is looking for a hands-on role with lots of customer contact in an education setting in Coventry.
You will manage, maintain, support and develop the ICT infrastructure to ensure its effective and efficient operation in conjunction with external companies. You must have a driving licence and your own transport to be considered for this role.

You’ll be the backbone of the business from a finance and operational perspective, managing everything from day-to-day accounts through to HR and office management.

What you’ll be doing:

Finance:

• Day-to-day bookkeeping and reconciliations

• Sales ledger and credit control

• Month-end and year-end processes

• Reporting, analysis and supporting business decisions

HR:

• Payroll management

• Supporting HR processes and employee records

Office / Admin:

• Overseeing office operations and facilities management

• General administration across the site
