Regional Health, Safety & Environmental Manager (SHE)
Manchester | Circa £45,000 + Benefits

An established industrial construction business is seeking a Regional Health, Safety & Environmental Manager (SHE) to support and drive safety, health and environmental compliance across multiple UK sites.

Reporting into senior leadership, you will be the key point of contact for all SHE matters within your region, leading audits, inspections, risk assessments and compliance activities while supporting the ongoing development of ISO management systems.

The successful candidate will hold a NEBOSH qualification, possess strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, and have previous experience within industrial construction, engineering or a related sector. Experience of ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001 management systems is highly desirable.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious SHE professional to join a growing organisation and play a pivotal role in developing a strong safety culture across the business.

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering business (client confidential) for an experienced Service Manager to lead a UK-wide field service team supporting industrial manufacturing plants.

This is a hands-on management role, ideal for someone who has progressed from an electrical or mechanical engineering background into service leadership. You'll be responsible for planning engineers, managing customer relationships, producing quotations and driving service excellence across a varied customer base in sectors including automotive, aerospace and advanced engineering. The role includes managing service operations, scheduling engineers, preparing quotations for remedial and small works, and leading small projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing and developing a UK-wide team of Field Service Engineers
  • Planning service schedules and coordinating customer requirements
  • Producing quotations for service, remedial and small project works
  • Carrying out customer site visits and identifying additional work opportunities
  • Leading small projects from enquiry through to completion

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience managing or supervising a field service engineering team
  • Electrical and/or Mechanical engineering background
  • Experience within industrial manufacturing, process plant, automation, capital equipment or similar environments
  • Able to prepare quotations and commercially identify additional works
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK when required
