Role: Workflow Automation Engineer
Location: Billericay Essex - Site based moving to one day a week at home
Salary: £45,000 to £55,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a technically capable Workflow Automation Engineer to join a growing and forward-thinking organisation. This is a varied, hands-on role combining the design and development of business workflow automations that improve efficiency across the organisation using Make.com and also provde 1st/2nd line IT support coordinating with their outsourced IT proivider.

The Make.com experience is key in this role so if you have that and not much on the IT support side that will be fine.

We unfortunately can’t consider anyone that does not have Make.com experience.

The successful candidate will take ownership of internal IT support while also building and maintaining automated workflows using Make.com, integrating cloud-based systems and APIs to streamline business processes. Working closely with stakeholders, they will translate business requirements into practical technical solutions and play a key role in driving continuous improvement.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven expertise building workflow automations using Make.com
  • Commercial experience providing 1st & 2nd line IT support
  • Strong Microsoft 365 and Azure administration skills
  • Experience supporting Windows environments, hardware, networking and cloud technologies
  • Knowledge of APIs, webhooks, JSON and system integrations would be helpful.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication and problem-solving skills

Registered Manager – Children's Residential Home

Location: Greater Manchester

Salary: Up to £60,000 + Benefits

Build an Outstanding Children's Home From Day One

A growing children's residential care provider is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead the opening of a brand-new children's home in Greater Manchester.

Supporting children and young people aged 8–17 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Disabilities (LD), this is a unique opportunity to join during the pre-registration phase and play a key role in creating an exceptional home from the very beginning.

Working within a trauma-informed and therapeutic model of care, you'll have the opportunity to shape the culture, recruit your team and establish a service with the ambition of achieving an Outstanding Ofsted rating.

The Role

As the Registered Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and full compliance with Children's Homes Regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Registering with Ofsted as the Registered Manager.
  • Leading, developing and inspiring a residential care team.
  • Creating a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment where young people can thrive.
  • Overseeing care planning, risk assessments and behaviour support plans.
  • Acting as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
  • Ensuring compliance with the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
  • Managing Regulation 40 notifications, Regulation 44 visits and Regulation 45 quality assurance processes.
  • Building excellent relationships with local authorities, social workers, families and external professionals.
  • Managing staffing, budgets and overall operational performance.
  • Driving continuous improvement with the aim of achieving an Outstanding Ofsted rating.

About You

To be successful, you'll need:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare, or be working towards it.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a senior or management position within a children's residential home.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
  • Experience of Ofsted inspections, ideally achieving Good or Outstanding outcomes.
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge with experience as a Designated Safeguarding Lead.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • A full UK driving licence.
Experience of opening a new children's home or supporting children with both EBD and Learning Disabilities would be advantageous but is not essential.
