The Role:
You’ll lead from the front — supporting a small engineering team while staying close to the kit across mixing, batching & filling production lines.

What you’ll be doing:

Leading and supporting a team of multi-skilled engineers
Driving a proactive maintenance culture (not reactive)
Acting as the go-to technical expert (electrical & mechanical)
Working with Siemens PLCs (fault finding level)
Delivering and driving continuous improvement (CI)
Championing health & safety and engineering standards

What we’re looking for:

Current Team Leader / Supervisor OR a strong engineer ready to step up
FMCG or similar process background
Experience with pipework, mixing or filling systems
Strong electrical skills + PLC exposure
Someone who can lead, influence and improve — not just maintain

The Candidate:
The ideal Solar Commercial PV Sales Manager will have:

At least 2 years of sales experience in a commercial environment, ideally within the Solar or similar industry.
Excellent communication skills to engage with business owners, directors, and other stakeholders.
Experience with CRM systems, particularly HubSpot, is desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good computer skills.
A self-motivated, hardworking, and conscientious attitude.

The Package:
The Solar Commercial PV Sales Manager package includes:

Annual salary of £50,000 to £60,000, with OTE of £100,000.
29 days of holiday, including Bank Holidays, plus Birthday Leave.

The Role

You’ll play a critical role in the design, development and deployment of advanced control systems, supporting the delivery of precision-engineered, safety-critical systems from concept through to installation.

Working closely with mechanical, software and systems engineers, you’ll help ensure projects are delivered to exacting technical, quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement control systems for complex electromechanical equipment
Develop, test and maintain PLC, HMI and motion control software
Produce accurate technical documentation including schematics, BOMs and manuals
Ensure systems meet relevant safety, quality and compliance standards
Collaborate across engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions
Contribute to product development and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or similar
3+ years’ experience in automation / controls engineering
Strong experience with PLCs (IEC61131), VFDs and motion control systems
Ideally experience with Beckhoff PLCs
Proven track record delivering complex electromechanical systems
Detail-oriented with a hands-on, problem-solving approach
Confident communicator, comfortable working with cross-functional teams

Desirable:

Experience with AV systems or immersive technologies
Knowledge of electrical design packages and system integration
Experience supporting international projects or installations
