A leading company of personal injury claims solicitors, part of one of the UK’s largest award winning insurance brokers, are currently looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant at the Liverpool office. This is a fantastic opportunity for an AAT-qualified/part-qualified individual to develop a career within a market-leading firm.
As part of a fast-paced Accounts Department, you will be responsible for ensuring all accounting transactions are recorded accurately, comprehensively and in a timely manner.
You would be tasked with reconciling and reviewing the ledgers, cash books, and balance sheet accounts, ensuring work is completed to agreed monthly deadlines and correctly reflects the company’s assets and liabilities, responsible for necessary accruals and prepayments to ensure prime entry accounting transactions are accurately reflected in the company accounts.
The ideal candidate for the role will be AAT qualified with demonstrable experience within high volume accounting environments. You will have experience in the maintenance of sales and purchase ledgers, plus strong bank reconciliation and variance analysis skills.
You will be a positive and flexible individual with excellent organisational skills as well as a strong attention to detail, able to multitask and prioritise a varied workload efficiently and effectively. You will be liaising with suppliers and customers on a regular basis so excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise at all levels will be required. Good IT skills will also be required.
