This an excellent and very rare opportunity for someone who has been a key part of a team implementing large scale ERP, Warehouse Management or Supply Chain Software to break into a consulting role and to join a major Blue Chip Software company that offers excellent training and opportunities for travel.
Initially there will be an extensive training period which will involve learning their Demand planning and forecasting software as well as shadowing their existing consultants once this has been completed.
Once you are up and running the role will involve travel to customer sites based mainly in the UK but also potentially across Europe enabling their customers to successfully implement their Demand and Supply Chain planning software into sectors such as food and beverage, retail, pharmaceutical, distribution and manufacturing.
Their software covers Demand planning and scheduling, Master planning, Distribution planning, Production planning and Procurement planning and you will be trained both in the UK and France on the full software suite covering these areas.
Key experience required:
You will be degree educated, ideally within Mathematics or Engineering and will have a good general knowledge of supply chain gained from your studies or professional experience.
You will have experience of working with Supply Chain software including Demand planning and forecasting and will be looking for a role that will use your expertise to work with companies to implement their specialist Supply Chain software.
You will have a real appetite for solving complex problems related to forecasting or capacity planning as well as an understanding of the key algorithms used in Demand planning and forecasting.
Ideally you will have worked on the implementation of a large scale multi-site Supply Chain, ERP or Warehouse Management software project as a super-user or as a key member of the implementation / configuration team.
Once you are fully trained you will be working on client sites so you must be willing to travel and to spend time away from home regularly during the working week.
This is an excellent opportunity to break into a consulting role with a growing global organisation where the average length of employment is 10 years plus.
You could currently be working as a Demand Planner, Supply Chain Manager, Supply Chain Analyst, Demand Manager, Forecasting Manager, Supply Chain Consultant or IT Business Analyst.
