We’re looking for a talented Registered Manager to work for our client.

They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of managing a learning disability service as a Registered Manager.

The Role:
As the Registered Manager you will be primarily responsible for a 6 bed residential service, supporting adults with challenging behaviour and complex needs. You will lead a team of fully trained health care professionals in providing twenty-four-hour support. All staff are NAPPI (Non-Abusive Physical and Psychological Interventions) trained and use the NAPPI red and green scale to maintain positive influence on each service user.

In the job you’ll be tasked with the following:

  • Promoting a Caring environment which provides clients with a high standard of specialised support.
  • Responsible for all Managerial aspects of the home ensuring the best standards of care are maintained, exceeding CQC and other regulatory bodies’ expectations.
  • Focusing on developing your staff to be the best versions of themselves, delivering person-centred care and ensuring that all care quality assurances are followed.

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Registered Manager role will be dedicated and resilient Leader with proven record of managing services specialising in Learning Disabilities.

In addition, you’ll need the following:

  • A NVQ level 5 in Health and Social Care (equivalent or willingness to working towards).
  • Able to motivate your staff team and navigate your way through challenging times.
  • Confident with CQC legislation and Quality Standards.

The Package:
Basic salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Bonus: An extra bonus is also available if the company hits certain targets – full details of the scheme will be revealed on application
